New Artists at The Red House We are happy to represent the young, upcoming Colombian musician EDMAR CASTAÑEDA! He plays harp like nobody else and he is available as solo artist as well as with his trio or quartet. RON SPIELMAN is one of the very best and innovative guitarists/singers in Germany, and we are currently booking a tour for his 'Absolutely Live' Trio feat. Benny Greb and Edward Maclean. Also booking now for 2009: classical star FRANCESCO TRISTANO, who has just performed with Carl Craig and Moritz von Oswald at the Cité de la musique in Paris their new project 'Versus'. FORRO IN THE DARK - concerts in Estonia and Helsinki Forro in the dark, New York's cool Brazil act, will come to Estonia and Finland in November. They will play at Estonia's new Tallinn Tropics Festival, and at Finnish film maker Mika Kaurismäki's Brazilian restaurant Bossa in Helsinki. LILA DOWNS - "Shake Away" Record Release Tour 2008 Lila Downs will be back in Europe to promote her upcoming album "Shake Away". Her new songs are a mix of cumbias, folks songs, rancheras, blues, and rock tunes that are originals and covers. Lila has invited guest singers like the legendary Argentinean singer Mercedes Sosa, Cafe Tacuba's Ruben Albarran and acclaimed singer/guitarist Raul Midon so you find some beautiful duets on "Shake Away".
